Teaching Interview Question
Q1. How will you incorporate technology?
Similar:
- How do you integrate technology into your classroom to enhance student learning?
- Tell me about the technology you use in the classroom.
“I will use smart boards, videos, presentations, and online quizzes to make secondary-level learning clearer and more interactive, while ensuring safe and responsible use of technology.“
Q2. Can you give an example of a successful lesson where technology improved engagement or understanding?
“Yes. In a Class 9 Mathematics lesson on linear equations in two variables, many students were confused about how a graph is formed. Our school did not have a smart board, so I used my mobile phone to show a short graph animation video. I explained step by step how values are plotted on the x-axis and y-axis. After watching the video, students understood the concept better. Then I asked them to draw the graph on graph paper. Most students completed the task correctly and could explain the solution clearly. The use of simple technology improved both understanding and confidence.”
For Primary Teacher
“I used a short maths video on my mobile phone to explain a difficult concept. Students understood faster, participated more, and solved problems correctly.”
Q3. How do you ensure that technology use supports, rather than distracts from, learning objectives?
“I use technology only when it clearly helps the lesson objective. Before using any digital tool, I decide what students should learn from it. I keep videos or digital content short and focused, and I always connect it with the textbook topic. I explain clear rules for technology use so students stay attentive and do not misuse it. After using technology, I ask questions or give a short activity to check understanding. In this way, technology supports learning instead of distracting students.”
