  • Prime Minister Modi’s Rescheduled Visit to Assam
    • Due to the Vice President poll, PM Modi’s visit to Assam has been rescheduled to September 13–14. The revised itinerary includes:
    • September 13: Birth centenary celebration of cultural icon Bhupen Hazarika.
    • September 14: Inauguration of key infrastructure projects, Guwahati Ring Road, Brahmaputra bridge (Kuruwa–Narengi), foundation stone for Mangaldoi Medical College and Hospital, and dedication of a ₹4,200 crore bio-ethanol plant at Numaligarh Refinery.
